If necessary, engineers can turn back to carry the incendiary weapons and go after. Just cross the deep segment of river if the incendiary weapons are portable. On capturing the opponent’s pieces at the other river bank, incendiary weapons will relocated such pieces immediately without being carried. Engineers are multi-purpose fighting units; they not only bridge but also join in attacks as the other chessmen do.
